Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Wave View is a browser-based waveform mixer. The app itself runs locally in your browser and does not include account features or server-side audio processing.

What the app stores

Wave View saves your mixer settings in your browser using local storage so your last configuration can be restored the next time you open the app. This may include signal types, frequencies, gain values, phase settings, preview zoom, and related UI state.

Cookies and local storage

The app uses browser local storage for saved mixer settings. Local storage stays on your device unless you clear it in your browser settings.

Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic site traffic and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is loaded from Cloudflare and may process technical request information such as page URL, referrer, device, browser, country or region, and performance timing data.

Audio processing

Audio generation and preview are handled in your browser through the Web Audio API. The app does not upload your generated audio or your waveform settings to a server as part of its own functionality.

Downloaded files

When you export a WAV file, the file is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. The app itself does not receive a copy of that file.

What the app does not collect

Wave View does not include built-in user accounts, payment processing, or contact forms. It does not intentionally collect your name, email address, or other direct personal identifiers.

Sale or sharing of personal information

This site does not sell personal information, share it with third parties for advertising, or use first-party profiling systems. Residents of certain US states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others) may have rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information under their state's law; no such activity takes place on this site.

Hosting and server logs

If this site is hosted by a third-party platform, that host may process technical data such as IP address, request logs, browser details, and access times in the ordinary course of serving web pages. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider, not by the in-browser app code.

Your choices

You can clear saved settings at any time by using the app reset controls or by clearing this site's stored data in your browser settings. You can also stop using the audio preview features by not granting audio playback permission or by closing the page.

Children's privacy

Wave View is a general-purpose audio tool and is not directed to children under 13. The app itself does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the app's behavior changes, such as adding backend services, new analytics tools, or user accounts. When that happens, the policy should be updated before or at the time those changes are published.
